Theravāda Buddhism Online Workshops 2026 with Venerable Vimala
We are delighted to announce another event in the Theravāda Buddhism Workshop Series 2026.
On June 20–21, 2026, a special online workshop will be led by Venerable Vimala—an experienced teacher, researcher, and fully ordained bhikkhunī, as well as a member of the international Saṅgha.
Workshop topic
“Right View – the foundation of the Noble Eightfold Path”
Why join?
Meeting Venerable Vimala offers an opportunity to:
connect with a teacher deeply rooted in the early Buddhist teachings,
reflect on Dhamma practice in the context of the contemporary world,
take part in an open, inclusive, and kindness-based (mettā) space.
Workshop Leader
Venerable Vimala is one of the founding members of Samita ASBL, a Belgian foundation whose aim is to support Tilorien, a monastic community based on the early teachings of Buddhism. The Tilorien monastery was established to provide a place of practice for bhikkhunīs and other women, both lay and ordained, while also supporting LGBTIQA+ individuals and other underrepresented groups so that they may flourish in the Dhamma.
Venerable Vimala is also one of the main contributors to BuddhaNexus.net at the Numata Center for Buddhist Studies at the University of Hamburg.
