Sunday online meeting with Ayya Tisaranī.
We warmly invite you to our next gathering, which will be a special opportunity to deepen our practice and pause together. This time, Ayya Tisaranī will offer a Dhamma talk, sharing her experience and insight.
Ayya Tisaranī is the first Polish fully ordained nun (bhikkhuṇī) in the Theravāda tradition. She first encountered the teachings of Gautama Buddha in the 1990s and took refuge in 1997. In 2011 she began monastic life and since then has devoted herself to the practice of meditation, the study of the Dhamma, and living in accordance with the Buddha’s teachings.
She has practiced in various places across Europe and Asia, deepening her meditation experience and her life in seclusion. Since 2015 she has been associated with Sirisampanno Monastery. She received sāmaṇerī (novice) ordination in 2019 in Sri Lanka, and her full bhikkhuṇī ordination in 2021 from Ayya Tathālokā.
Ayya Tisaranī shows that the Dhamma is alive not only in words but above all in everyday life—in mindfulness, wisdom, and compassion. Her example inspires others to bring the Buddha’s teachings into each day.
During the meeting, Ayya will also answer participants’ questions, which can be sent to us in advance by email. This is a wonderful opportunity to receive guidance and responses directly from a teacher, tailored to one’s own practice and doubts.
This gathering is a time to pause, breathe, focus on the present moment, and deepen one’s practice. We warmly invite everyone—both long-time practitioners and those who are just beginning—to join us in listening, reflecting, and being together in the space of the Dhamma.
May this moment become a source of peace, clarity, and kind presence for all of us.
We also recommend the teachings of Ayya Tisaranī available on the YouTube channels:
