We’ve got it! The brand-new website of the 13th Global Buddhist Conference is now live, and from now on you can visit it regularly for updates.
Please keep in mind that the program will be evolving, so it’s worth checking back regularly for updates. We also ask for a little patience — the website will grow step by step, gradually developing and improving together with us.
#A Snap of Wisdom by Ayya Karunika
Ayya Karunika, in a spirit of kindness and dhammic care, has proposed an initiative titled “A Snap of Wisdom.” This year, Ayya will regularly share short, inspiring reflections.
If there are English-speaking members in your community who would like to receive these wise insights, please let us know. It is a wonderful opportunity to draw from the teachings of the Dhamma together.
Venerable Vimala & Ajahn Nitho Invite You to a 6-Day Silent Retreat in Sweden
Venerable Vimala and Ajahn Nitho warmly invite you to join a 6-day silent meditation retreat in Sweden. This retreat offers a rare opportunity to step away from daily life, cultivate inner stillness, and deepen your practice in a peaceful natural environment.
Held in noble silence, the retreat will include guided meditation, Dhamma reflections, and supportive structure for both new and experienced practitioners. It is a space to slow down, turn inward, and reconnect with clarity and presence.
Six days of quiet practice and mindful living together.
All are welcome to share these six days of quiet practice and mindful living together.
#Editorial Training
Through a joint effort of PEBS and Sasana.pl, we are building an editorial team whose aim is to strengthen the presence of the Dhamma in Poland and share it with an ever wider audience.
At the moment, we are especially looking for editors who are confident and fluent in Polish. People willing to translate from English are also very welcome. What matters most are time availability, goodwill, and a sincere wish to engage.
The training has already begun and is ongoing — anyone can join at any stage.
The daily work of the editorial team focuses primarily on translating videos featuring teachings by nuns and monks, allowing their words to resonate within the Polish community. At the same time, we work on translating books and longer Dhamma texts, gradually expanding access to authentic sources of Early Buddhism in Polish.
Do you have a feel for writing, editing, or translating? Perhaps you work with layout or typesetting? Get in touch with us — together, we can do a great deal of good.
#Volunteer Training for the 13th Global Buddhist Conference
On November 7–8, 2026, the 13th Global Buddhist Conference will take place in Kraków. We are looking for volunteers to help organize the event. The first call for volunteers was issued last autumn, and the number of responses far exceeded our expectations.
To better organize the volunteer effort, we are sending out a survey — it will help match volunteers with tasks and time commitments. If you have already signed up to volunteer via email, please also complete the survey. This will allow us to better prepare assignments and place you in areas that will be most inspiring and engaging for you.
We will soon provide detailed information about training for each volunteer department — these departments are listed in the survey.
Important! Volunteer spots are limited.
